Chris here. Lau and I are back to Umeå from our trip to Sweden’s Höga Kusten (high coast) with Marianne! Some brief highlights: visiting a museum which featured an ACCORDION house (!!), going to a forest interest group event, jamming with some locals at a farm and getting a gift of potatoes (10 kilos!) as a thanks! (The potatoes are AMAZING!), trekking for Chantarelle mushrooms (Laurel found a couple kilos over the course of 3 days!), visiting a clock house (nothing but clocks for days!), as well as hiking through, around, and picnic-ing in some of the nicest spots, trails and forests around the area.
