Couchsurfing rules!
Hey All, Laurel here…… here’s a flashback to Prague, the Czech Republic:

The Czech Republic is beautiful! We have been exploring this city for a few days now and it is great. Couch Surfing has really been such a wonderful aspect of our trip. It gives you such an inside view to a city and gives you friends who you would probably not be able to meet otherwise.
Chris and I were able to meet up with two Swedish friends, Marianne and Hanna, who were in Prague at the same time as us. It has been great hanging out with them in a different country and showing them a little bit of what we are able to experience with couch surfing. The experience of staying in a hostel as opposed to couch surfing is so different; it’s the difference between being a tourist and a traveler.
It was so hard to find someone to host us in Prague but once we saw our host’s profile I knew we had to meet him. His name is Dalibor and he is a great accordionist. He has shown us parts of this city we would have never seen, given us opportunities to play music and shown us some of the alternative culture of the city!
Since being in Prague we have seen traditional Czech music, gone to a farmers market at the edge of the city and played music, gone to an undergroud music/bar venue, seen some touristic sights, gone to a party at a soccerfield/venue with firespinning and djs, and met some really cool Czechs! If you are planning on traveling, definitely couch surf!
